Collection of stories written by Alfred Ollivant, Jim Kjelgaard, Jack London, Stephen Meader, Albert Payson Terhune, et al. In her inscription Fenner states: "There is more I could have said here, but I was afraid of embarrassing you." Laid in is a typed post card addressed to Smith & postmarked Oct. 28, 1951 in which Fenner tates that "I am so delighted that you were pleased at the dedication. I do wish I had said a lot of things I felt about you but it is a hard thing to say and not be sappy"
