Martin Eden
New York: Madison Publishing Company, ca. 1948. 12mo. Blue cloth, stamped in gilt. 411 p. Very good. [94834]
The Madison Publishing Company was a venue for marketing unsold copies of the Daily Worker Jack London editions of the late-1930s. They are identical except the Madison copies have new tipped-in title pages & half-titles and were issued with dust wrappers. Copies of the Daily Workers editions are usually encountered well-worn because of the cheap nature of their bindings but this copy is fairly well preserved.
