Extensively annotated catalogues of what must rank as one of the greatest film series ever presented - over 100 classic & rarely-seen films in less than three months. The notes were written by Tom Luddy. The program was coordinated and several of the showings were introduced by James Card. The compiler saw almost all of them. If memory serves, the admission price at PFA at the time was 75¢.
