One-page TLs dated July 17, 1977 to Bill Callison from Bob Evans
[68747]
Humorous put-down of Callison and his grouplet, the Revolutionary Socialist Network (here referred to as the "Reactionary Socialist Nyetwork"), written by a former factional opponent in the Peace & Freedom Party. Evans concludes with a bit of doggerel which he calls a "combination biography and statement of principles for your next electoral effort":
Vote "Callison," the workers' friend
To all your woes he'll put an end.
Of Marx's thought he knows enough
To shout and scream and huff and puff.
To Marxist groups he loves to belong,
If they think he's never wrong.
To solve our woes Bill's got "the thing:"
A workers' state where he's the king.
So, cast your vote for Big Bill C.,
Pride of the petty bourgeoisie.
