Pasadena: Self-published, (1920). 12mo. Red cloth, stamped in gilt. 329 p. + ads. 1st edition. Ahouse A27a. Hanna 3242. Rideout p. 294. Ex-library (bookplate, pocket at rear, small label at base of spine). Light cover wear; else very good.
This copy is from the library of the Krotona Institute of Theosophy in Hollywood. This is an interesting association copy in view of the unflattering remarks Sinclair made about California Theosophists in "The Profits of Religion." The Krotona bookplate, with mystic symbols, pyramids, an eagle, the rising sun, etc., is quite attractive.
