Contains a section of eight "Newspaper Ballads" plus "The Yosemite Road," "Return of the Vaquero," "To Edward Carpenter in England," etc. Millard was born in Markesan, Wis. in 1859 but lived after approximately 1890 in Marin County, San Francisco, Berkeley & Eagle Rock.
