Substantial run (454 issues by our count) of this left-wing tabloid weekly which was started in 1948 as the campaign paper of the Progressive Party. It was broadly pro-Soviet but maintained an independent position in relation to the Communist Party. There is extensive coverage in the earlier issues of the Rosenberg Case.
